There are a few theories on who he could be playing.

The latest Avengers: Infinity War trailer dropped yesterday and whilst Peter Dinklage was nowhere to be seen, it has since been confirmed that he will definitely be in the film after Marvel released a new promotional poster showcasing the main villain of the piece, Thanos.

On it, the Game of Thrones actor’s name can be found in the bottom section, next to Idris Elba (Heimdall) and beneath Chris Hemsworth (Thor).

Dinklage has actually already entered the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appearing asDr Bolivar Trask in X-Men: Days Of The Future Past.

He won’t, however, be playing Trask in the upcoming film, and there has been much debate surrounding his role ever since his involvement was rumoured last year.

Many think he will be playing Pip the Troll, who is an integral member of the Infinity Watch in the Marvel Comic Books, whilst it is also believed that it could be The Watcher Uatu, a prominent member of the Watchers race.

He could even be playing a villain – Thanos’ Black Order members, Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive are both possibilities.

It appears that Marvel are keeping their cards close to their chest on this one, so we’ll have to wait until the movie hits cinemas on the 27th of April to find out. You can watch the second official trailer for the new film below.
