Game of Thrones Season 8 will premiere in April next year

Great news for Game of Thrones fans

It's been a long wait, but at least now we know when the wait will end, as on Tuesday, HBO revealed that Game of Thrones will return in April next year. You might have thought they'd give you a teaser or some cryptic clue, but no, they've put together a load of old footage to tease out the drama a little bit. Along with the line: "Every battle. Every betrayal. Every risk. Every fight. Every sacrifice. Every death. There will be posters released later on Tuesday and we imagine there will loads of teasers as April approaches.
