Cinema date?

There’s an incredibly eclectic bunch of brilliant films being released in cinemas this August, so we thought we’d give you a taste of what’s in store.

1. Suicide Squad

Release date: August 5th

Plot: A secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency.

Go see it because: It’s good to be bad. We haven’t been this excited about a comic-book film since Deadpool was released because it seems like David Ayer has really managed to capture the perfect balance between fun, action and darkness.

Oh yeah, it’s also got Batman and The Joker. Be honest, you’ve already booked your ticket, right?

The incredibly talented Jonah Hill and Miles Teller star in this one and this seems like it’s going to be a genuine sleeper hit.
