Good news then because Channel 4 have announced that there will be new episodes of The Crystal Maze. The brilliant Richard Ayoade will once again guide the intrepid explorers through four challenging zones as they collect crystals to exchange for time in the iconic Crystal Dome. The upcoming batch of programmes feature seven more teams of everyday adventurers hoping to “crack the crystal”, including a posse of midwives, a group who met on jury service, a team who became friends at deaf school and an AC/DC tribute band from Newcastle.Aside from the 'normal' episodes of the show, there's also going to be six celebrity specials in aid of Stand Up To Cancer.If you fancy being on the show, the application process opens on Tuesday 23rd January and they're looking for teams of five contestants.
