Details have been revealed about how Mitchells will be killed on EastEnders

By now we all probably know that Ronnie and Roxy Mitchell are set to be killed off from EastEnders. It was confirmed by The Sun that the two actresses, Samantha Womack and Rita Simons, would be leaving the show after their deaths in the New Year's Eve episode. A source told Digital Spy, "Alongside Samantha, Rita was recently offered to take part in the same big storyline that will see the Mitchell sisters depart Walford, but we will not be releasing any further details at this time. We wish Rita all the best for the future." But while it was confirmed they would be leaving a few weeks back, a potential storyline for their departure has just been revealed. According to The Sun, it will happen after Ronnie and Jack Branning get married again. At the reception, Roxy will get drunk and will fall into the swimming pool where she will drown. Ronnie will find her and jump in to save her but with the weight of her wedding dress she will also drown. A source said: "It’s a slightly ridiculous way to go. It must be the first time in soap history anyone has been killed by an item of their clothing. "Ronnie has been through some grim storylines in her time in Walford, it’s only fitting that she goes in a similar fashion. The scenes are going to be hard to watch."
