"This year the John Lewis advert will revolve around a big cuddly monster. If you can imagine a cross between the Gruffalo and a huge cute teddy bear, that's the angle they've gone for. "The creative team behind the John Lewis advert have pulled out all the stops this year. "It's going to be like nothing they've ever done before and will be a million miles away from Buster the Boxer."If that doesn't sound intriguing enough, the rumoured song is sure to get you excited. Apparently, people think it's going to be a new version of Last Christmas, to pay tribute to the late George Michael. Neither the theme or the song have been confirmed by John Lewis themselves so we will have to wait and see. Traditionally they used to release the ad on the first Friday of November, but last year they surprised everyone when they released it on Thursday, November 9th. So, people are speculating that it could be released on Thursday, November 10th this year. Again, no confirmation on this but at least it's not too far away.
