Now that the movie has been released in cinemas, we are now as well going to talk about its post-credits - an important discussion when it comes to any Marvel picture.

In this case, we would urge viewers to stick around for them as there are two scenes that appear - one plays mid-credits and the other plays at the end of them.

For a movie filled with so much ultra-violence and foul-mouthed humour, the first of these post-credit scenes is surprisingly sweet.

Set to Green Day classic tear-jearker 'Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)', it is a montage of moments and behind-the-scenes footage from several of the superhero movies that have led to Deadpool & Wolverine - most notably those in the X-Men franchise.

If these films hold a special place in your heart, you may find yourself getting a little misty-eyed.

But just in case you thought Deadpool & Wolverine would end on such a sentimental note, rest easy. Its other post-credits scene is deeply rude and silly.

Earlier in the movie, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) was blamed for getting the Human Torch (Chris Evans) killed after telling villain Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin) that the Fantastic Four member bad-mouthed her in spectacularly mean fashion.

The Human Torch had denied doing this prior to his graphic killing, accusing Deadpool - in an incredibly believable manner - of lying.

In the post-credits scene, the merc with a mouth is seen using the Time Variance Authority's technology to prove that the Human Torch did actually say those offensive things about Nova.

The scene is particularly fun as it sees Evans' given a chance to shed the good-boy image he cultivated playing another Marvel superhero Captain America and swear - A LOT.
