Here, we're taking a sneak peek at the new trailer for the king of cringe and his new movie, David Brent: Life On The Road. David Brent Plot's it all about? Ricky Gervais is bringing the character that made him a star to the big screen. In David Brent: Life On The Road, our protagonist attempts to finally make his ultimate dream a reality; to become a bona fide rock star. The trailer alone has the cringe levels turned right up to 11. And if that isn't enough squirming for you, then you can relive some of Brent's most skin-crawlingly awkward moments here. As part of the promotion for the movie, Gervais will play some live concerts with the band featured in the film. Screen Shot 2016-06-19 at 09.58.03 Writing on his website, Gervais said:
"So, I completed work on Life On The Road and I'm about to complete the double album too. I have never been more exited about a project or more impatient to release it to the public. We're releasing the first single in July and you'll be able to pre-order the album and buy tickets to UK cinemas on the same day."
