One of the greatest characters in the history of television is set for a comeback after it was confirmed that Ricky Gervais is taking David Brent to the big screen.
The mockumentary film Life On The Road will follow Brent as he travels around the UK on a self-funded tour.

Gervais will write and star in the The Office spin-off, which will be funded by BBC Films and Entertainment One.
The film will also provide an insight into what Brent has been up to since The Office ended 12 years ago.
We expect to see a lot more of this gold...
