A petition to get David Bowie’s face put on an official banknote is gaining momentum.
Around 20,000 Starman fans (and counting) have backed the pledge for the new £20 banknote – due to be launched in the spring – to feature the face of the late legend.
It’s a decision yet to be made by the Government, so fans are using the time to rally the idea.
Economist Adam Smith appears on the current £20 note but maybe it’s time to represent a music legend on British currency.
Come on Cameron/Corbyn, look how much sense it would make…
