He broke the silence on Twitter earlier this evening
Danny Dyer is known for his reputation as a bit of a geezer, but let’s face it we all know he’s a soft’un at heart.
If you’ve been following Love Island this year you’ll know his daughter Dani has been one of the show’s standout contestants, because she’s just normal and down to earth.
She’s been coupled up with Jack for the last two weeks, which on Love Island pretty much means they’re married, or something.
So far throughout her stay in the villa so far the senior Dyer has been pretty quiet, besides an Instagram post last week.

But now he’s had his say on her antics during the show, saying that she’s ‘holding her own’ but adding that he misses her.
On Twitter, Dyer wrote: “I know she’s doing well… holding her own and all that bullshit… but it’s got to be declared… I proper miss my baby girl now. #firstborn #Dani #loveisland.”
Jack can at least be happy that his couple-up-father-in-law hasn’t put him in his bad books.

The heartfelt message also got quite the response on Twitter.
“She’s doing you proud Geez. Soundest one in there, and with a good dude to be fair,” one fan commented.
“She is proper doing you proud mate brilliant role model for all girls,” another added.
A third fan tweeted: “She is the most genuine and down to earth girl in there, deffo the winner.”
