Last night saw a particularly explicit scene on the soap.
So, were you watching Corrie last night? If you were then you’ll probably remember one particular scene, which seemed to be pushing it, considering it was aired pre-water shed.
Carla surprised her younger man Daniel at his flat – and then, in the immoral words of Marvin Gaye, they got it on.

I’m not going to give you a full play-by-play, but memorable moments included clothes being thrown all over the floor, a glimpse of a fully naked Carla in Daniel’s arms, and her telling him: “Don’t sound so surprised, I’ve been around twice as long as you have – I know stuff.”
But viewers response to the scene wasn’t as ‘oh-aye’ as you might expect.
In fact, users on social media were quick to point out something they found actively displeasant about the whole thing: the noises they made whilst they were kissing.
