Coronation Street looks set for an explosive Christmas Day if the hints being dropped about the festive special are anything to go by.

And now Photos released of the Christmas Day episode suggest there may also be an unexpected death on the cobbles. Anna Windass could be headed for shock exit after being left alone in the house with Jack for Christmas Day. The cleaner is seen taking a tumble down the stairs while walking around in the dark and pictured unconscious on the floor.

A terrified Jack is then seen trying to wake her up before heading out in search of help.

All the signs are pointing to a dramatic and heart-wrenching Christmas climax on Corrie.
