The BBC has revealed the lineup for this year’s edition of Celebrity Traitors.
The inaugural edition of the series last year, which premiered on BBC One, was won by talk show host Alan Carr.
The BBC has now confirmed its roster for the forthcoming season, following months of speculation.
Among this year’s competitors are comedians James Acaster, Joanne McNally, and Joe Lycett, it has been revealed.
Several actors are also part of the lineup, including Bella Ramsey from The Last of Us, Michael Sheen from The Damned United and Richard E Grant from Withnail and I.
The lineup was met with enthusiasm and approval on social media, as some have said the line up was “amazing” and “incredible”.
The contestants in the series, which will launch later this year on BBC One, are secretly divided into “Faithfuls” and “Traitors”.
A small group of contestants is chosen as the titular “Traitors”, and must work together to eliminate the other contestants to win a grand prize.
The remaining contestants are the “Faithful” and are tasked to discover and banish the Traitors by voting them out to win the grand prize.
