Body-popping B&B owner joins Pharrell on stage at Isle of Wight festival…

It didn’t matter about the sun going down on the Isle Of Wight as Pharrell Williams kept the crowd warm on Saturday night.

Giving the fans exactly what they wanted, the singer wasted no time throwing out his hits, including a few tunes belonging to his mates.

An N.E.R.D medley followed by a cover of Nelly’s Hot In Here, Busta Rhymes’ Jump Jump and Snoop Dogg’s Drop It Like It’s Hot got the crowd bouncing.

Pharrell then left his dancers to entertain in their customary tour uniform – skin-tight top-to-toe Adidas – while he took a break off stage.

But the best was yet to come, when he pulled a fan from backstage to dance – and boy did she dance.

She was body-popping, grinding and even attempted an ill-advised worm at one stage.

Her name is Carol Parks, 54, and luckily for JOE, she stumbled right into our path when she was finally ushered from the stage.

Carol, a local bed and breakfast owner, was grinning like a Cheshire Cat and, still grinding, she said: “I loved being there, he is such a wonderful person.”

Along with a tribute to Jimi Hendrix earlier on Saturday, the crowd were left more than ready for headliners Blur.
