Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez finally tie the knot in Las Vegas

17 years after they called off their first engagement, Bennifer is now official

Hollywood stars Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have got married in Las Vegas, almost two decades after they first got engaged. Earlier this year, the couple announced they had rekindled their romance and were once again engaged, with Affleck having first asked Lopez to marry him in late 2002. However they called the wedding off in 2004. But now, all these years later, they've finally tied the knot. In a message on her website, OnTheJLo, Lopez announced the news of their marriage, saying: "We did it. Love is beautiful. Love is kind. And it turns out love is patient. Twenty years patient." She went on to write: "Exactly what we wanted. Last night we flew to Vegas, stood in line for a license with four other couples, all making the same journey to the wedding capital of the world." The popstar also shared a number of photos from the wedding, which took place at the Little White Chapel, famous for its drive-through 'tunnel of love.' Lopez finished by writing: “They were right when they said, ‘all you need is love’. We are so grateful to have that in abundance, a new wonderful family of five amazing children, and a life that we have never had more reason to look forward to. “Stick around long enough and maybe you’ll find the best moment of your life in a drive through in Las Vegas at 12.30 in the morning and at the tunnel of love drive through, with your kids and the one you’ll spend forever with. "Love is a great thing, maybe the best of things – and worth waiting for.” This is Lopez's fourth marriage. During her time apart from Affleck, she was most notably married to singer Marc Anthony between 2004 and 2014, who she shares twins with.
