A representative for The Social Network star has yet to confirm or deny these claims

Following the recently disputed claims that fallen star Armie Hammer was working as a hotel concierge at a Cayman Islands resort, a new interview with an anonymous source claims to suggest that these reports could actually be true after all.

Star of The Social Network, The Lone Ranger and Call Me By Your Name, Hammer was hit with a swathe of sexual abuse allegations in early 2021 after leaked Instagram messages appeared to show the actor talking to various women about sexual activities involving violence, rape and even cannibalism.

With Hammer married at the time that this activity reportedly took place, he quickly claimed the conversation snippets were fabricated. However further abuse allegations followed, including an instance of rape which led to a full LAPD investigation being conducted.

As a result, the actor was dropped by WME, the agency that handled his film work affairs, and subsequently dropped out of a number of high-profile projects including a new movie with Jennifer Lopez.

Earlier this month, Twitter user @Muna_Mire posted a picture of a flyer that appeared to advertise Hammer’s services as a concierge at a Cayman Island hotel. Photos followed that seemed to show the former star dressed in uniform whilst on the job.

While quickly dismissed, a new interview featured on Variety suggests that Hammer is actually working at a resort after all, selling timeshares in an attempt to support his ex-wife and kids whilst “totally broke”.

“He is working at the resort and selling timeshares. He is working at a cubicle… The reality is he’s totally broke, and is trying to fill the days and earn money to support his family,” said an anonymous source, speaking to the outlet.

At the time of writing, Hammer or his representatives are yet to confirm or deny these claims.

The pictures of the flyer in question and those of Hammer reportedly at work at the island’s Morritt’s Resort have since been deleted with the hotel saying that the former was nothing more than a prank.

However if Variety‘s mystery source is to be believed, this was simply an attempt to protect Hammer’s identity as he continues to sell time shares.

The same source also claims that the Death on The Nile star has been managing an apartment complex after relocating to the Cayman Islands following a rehab stint in order to be closer to the two children he shares with former wife, TV host and entrepreneur Elizabeth Chambers.

Hammer is the great grandson of oil tycoon Armand Hammer yet according to Variety‘s report, he is not on the family payroll and has been forced to make ends meet any way he can. Prior to embarking on a successful acting career, Hammer spent many childhood years living in the Cayman Islands with his family.
