Ant vows to ‘speak to producers’ about Charlene rule break on I’m A Celeb

Not sure anyone thought this would be the main source of contention in camp...

Ant and Dec have voiced their bemusement at I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! contestant Charlene White, and promised to "speak to producers" about her rule-breaking. Despite Matt Hancock's presence in camp, it seems like the biggest source of tension and conflict on this year's series has come from Charlene not wanting to sleep in a comfy bed. The Loose Women star has caused a stir in camp by refusing to sleep in the RV in camp. After Matt selected her as his deputy leader, both were rewarded with one of the proper beds in the shelter of the RV. But Charlene has bizarrely refused to sleep in the bed, after seeing a spider in the RV, and has chosen instead to sleep outside. This has meant that oher fellow campmates have had to shift their sleeping arrangements to accommodate her. Seann Walsh has been left with back pain because he has had sleep in a hammock as a result.

This could all be avoided if Charlene just decided to sleep in the RV alongside Matt and free up a camping bed.

Dec said to his co-host: "Can we talk about the hammock RV situation? Do you get it? I don’t get it." Ant replied: "Why would you not want to sleep in there? It can't just be because of the spiders. Does she not want to sleep with Matt?" "You’ve got to think of others and if other people have to then sleep in a hammock because of your actions and have a bad back, then you’ve got to look at your actions."

Dec replied: "I’m not sure it’s really playing as a team member by doing that. By taking up a bed."

He then asked: "Is she not breaking the rules as a deputy camp leader by not going in the RV?"

Ant replied: "I think maybe she is. I’m going to speak to the producers about it."

Many have taken to social media to voice their annoyance with Charlene for not taking the much nicer RV bed.
