Ant and Dec announce all-star version of I'm A Celebrity

The series will feature some of the best contestants from the last two decades of I’m A Celebrity

Ant and Dec have confirmed that an all-stars series of I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here is being filmed in South Africa.

The special series is set to star some fan favourites from past series to help mark 20 years since the iconic ITV show first aired in 2002.

Confirming the news in a video on Twitter, the pair said: “South Africaaaaaaa! That’s right, we’re filming a very special version of I’m A Celebrity in South Africa which is coming to your tellies in 2023.”

In the clip, they both said: “We’ve got news.”

Dec then says: “It’s probably the worst kept secret in television, but we can confirm we’re doing a very special series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in South Africa!”

Showing off the incredible view behind them, they then scream South Africa in classic style, before explaining: “It’s going to be your favourite celebrities from the last 20 years who are going back in to do it one more time.”

The special all-star series is set to air in 2023, after the normal series in 2022.

This year, the show will be returning down under to Australia for the first time since 2019. For the past two years, the series has been filmed in Wales due to the coronavirus pandemic and the travel restrictions caused by this.
