Another Coronation Street legend has teased their return

It looks like Martin Platt might not be the only one coming back.

Earlier today we reported that David's dad would be returning to Corrie after a 13 year absence and now another former star has come out of the woodwork. Actress Angela Griffin – who played hairdresser Fiona Middleton from 1992 to 1998 - has hinted that she could come back to Weatherfield after 20 years to Lorraine Kelly. Her stint on the show saw her date Steve McDonald and have an affair with his father Jim. Speaking to Lorraine Kelly on her daytime TV show about Martin Platt’s return, she said: "If he’s going back you never know who else might go back. You never know. Never say never!" Asked who she would like to feature in a potential storyline with, Angela added: "Well, it's gotta have Steve McDonald in it, hasn't it?"
