It's Red Nose Day in America on May 26 and the celebrity world is out in force for fundraising.

Understanding that celebrity charity videos have a certain amount of cringe and cliche, this year's Red Nose Day effort has gone for the meta approach, with celebrities far and wide joining up to take the mick out of themselves and how they take it all far too seriously. "It's an important cause, which is why we're doing that thing where a bunch of celebrities are edited together so that each celebrity says one sentence or less of a heartfelt plea." Yeah. They are really going there. And by "they", we mean *deep breath* Ellen DeGeneres, Tracey Morgan, Kristen Bell, Emma Watson, Liam Neeson, Zac Efron among others. No punches are pulled in this charming video that wastes no time pulling the rug on how this charity efforts are made. "Were any of us in the same room together? No, we were not. But is it pretty impressive there are so many of us? Yeah it is." Quite. It certainly leaves us Brits wondering what we'll come up with this year to top it.
