Adverts for Jeremy Clarkson’s new show have offended some people who find them ‘insensitive’

The show starts on Friday.

Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will return to our screens on Friday, November 19th, for their new show The Grand Tour which will be available on Amazon Prime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLtpcxtk4HI It's set to rival their old show Top Gear and will see them back in the driving seat for a new motoring show. Ahead of the TV launch they planted a few stunt cars as part of an advertising campaign in different cities around the world; London, Los Angeles and Berlin. The stunt consisted of crashed cars with two half way into the pavement and one against at post box. Unfortunately, instead of just creating a bit of hype about the show people have branded it "insensitive" and said it's "glorifying speed". Gary Rae spoke on behalf of the road safety charity Brake when he told The Guardian:

"This is a crass, insensitive and desperate stunt. Though I’m not surprised, as this team has a track record of glorifying speed, and ignoring the devastating consequences of dangerous driving. "Programmes like Top Gear and its new rival, Grand Tour, need to recognise that car worship is dated and misplaced."
