A huge David Bowie celebration is coming to London

The Thin White Duke may be gone, but the spirt of David Bowie lives on through his music

A huge night celebrating the life and music of Bowie is coming to London’s Hackney Empire. Bowie Experience is an emotional celebration of the ultimate pop icon and his music – a spectacular concert featuring all of the most memorable hits from A to Ziggy.

Vocalist, actor and multi-instrumentalist, Laurence Knight, is one of the world’s top David Bowie performers. As Bowie, Laurence has performed at the official ‘David Bowie Is’ exhibition at the V&A, and also at the Royal Albert Hall, as well as alongside The Cure, Boney M, Roy Wood and the Boomtown Rats.

In 2012 he was invited to play at Heddon Street to recreate the album cover for the 40th anniversary of the release of the Ziggy Stardust album, and has made numerous TV appearances. Essentially, he’s the closest thing to our dear David that you can get.

The show sees Laurence take the audience through Bowie’s many characters, styles and modes across the singer’s incredible career.

You can expect all of Bowie’s biggest hits, including Space Oddity, Starman, Fashion, Life on Mars, China Girl, Rebel Rebel, Golden Years, Modern Love, Let’s Dance and Heroes.

The show will be visiting Hackney Empire on Friday 1 Feb. Tickets are on sale now.

Bowie Experience will tour the rest of the UK throughout 2019, details of which can be found here.
