Fulham's Premier League match against Tottenham on Wednesday has been thrown into jeopardy after a number of positive Covid-19 tests.
The Athletic are reporting that the most recent round of testing returned 'a number' of positive tests at Fulham that could lead to their clash with Spurs being called off.
At least three clubs returned positive cases in that round of testing, with 18 positive tests coming back in total across the whole Premier League.
Since then, Sheffield United have confirmed 'a number' of positive tests, without revealing which members of staff have been affected. Unlike Manchester City, though, their game with Burnley tonight will go ahead as planned.
City stars Kyle Walker and Gabriel Jesus tested positive this week, prompting the club to request postponing their game against Everton on Monday night. Everton then issued a statement requesting full disclosure on the case that led to their game being rescheduled.
"Our players were prepared for the game, as were both the team staff and everyone at Goodison. Matchday is the most important date in our calendar. And this was a big one," Everton's statement read.
"Whilst Everton will always have public safety uppermost, we will be requesting full disclosure of all the information that Manchester City provided to the Premier League so the Club can be clear on why this decision was taken."
Southampton have also been affected, with head coach Ralph Hasenhuttl self isolating after a member of his household tested positive.
Fulham boss Scott Parker has just come out of a 10-day isolation period but may not be able to lead his team into battle at Craven Cottage on Wednesday night.
This would be the third game postponed due to Covid cases this season, after Newcastle vs Aston Villa and Manchester City vs Everton were both rescheduled.
