Vasyl Lomachenko would not be concerned in the least about the size difference in a potential boxing bout against Conor McGregor

Lomachenko is currently putting the finishing touches on his preparation for the upcoming defence of his lightweight titles against Anthony Crolla and has faced plenty of questions from the media throughout fight week.

One such question was related to Conor McGregor, the former UFC featherweight and lightweight champion who was stopped in the 10th round of his professional boxing debut against Floyd Mayweather in 2017.

Lomachenko was asked whether he believes that McGregor should return to the ring and while the Ukrainian suggested that ‘The Notorious’ was much more of an entertainer than a fighter, Loma revealed that he would be happy to “school” McGregor for an easy payday.

Lomachenko, who typically fights at 135lbs, would be happy to move up to McGregor’s weight in order to make the fight a possibility.

“Conor McGregor, he’s a showman, he’s not athlete, he’s making money,” Lomachenko told TMZ.

“But in professional boxing – no – I can beat him in boxing, easy.

“I enjoy this fight, I will go school this guy. No problem.”
