Rick and Morty comes to E4 for the first time this evening

Loads of Adult Swim content is going to be made available on All 4

Rick and Morty will be aired on terrestrial TV for the first time on Friday evening, as the cult Adult Swim show comes to E4.

The show will debut with a double bill of the first two episodes at 10pm on Friday.

Viewers able to catch up on series one to three on E4 ahead of the brand new series four being aired on Channel 4 as a UK exclusive premiere.

It will be the first time the show has been aired on free-to-air UK television and is part of a new partnership that will see boxsets of Adult Swim content being made available to stream for free on All 4, alongside programmes from VICE and Walter Presents.

Rick and Morty will be accompanied by the UK premiere of the Robot Chicken: The Walking Dead Special on E4 – the first of a regular new ‘Adult Swim hour’ block on E4.

Ian Katz, Channel 4 Director of Programmes, said: “Rick and Morty is one of the most anarchic, ingenious and original shows around and the breakthrough animated hit of recent years. I’m thrilled that it’s coming to Channel 4 and E4.”
