Jonathan Pearce is a man prone to excitable commentary.

Exhibit A: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dHld_7DqMd8 But even by the standards of the bombastic BBC commentator, this was something else. Pearce was as excited as every man, woman and child in Ireland when Wes Hoolahan opened the scoring against Sweden in Paris - if not more so. Seamus Coleman cut the ball back across the penalty area, finding Hoolahan unmarked, who smashed it home before running off like Marco Tardelli circa 1982. Pearce's excitable style of commentary is an acquired taste, but it fitted this moment perfectly. https://twitter.com/StupidPundits/status/742447161544183809 The Spanish language commentary wasn't bad either.
