Roy Keane’s savage take on Celtic’s 7-0 loss was wildly different to Brendan Rodgers’

If you didn't feel sorry for Celtic after they were humbled 7-0 by Barcelona, you may do now.

Brendan Rodgers took his new side to the Nou Camp on Tuesday night. He returned to Scotland on Wednesday morning with some severely beaten men. Barcelona were 1-0 up in the Champions League group game against the Scottish champions but were affronted when the away side were awarded a penalty. It didn't matter that Moussa Dembele had his effort saved, Barca ramped it up anyway. They rattled in another six goals for their record Champions League win and Celtic's record European loss. Post-match, Rodgers said there was "no embarrassment" in Celtic's heavy defeat. Roy Keane has other ideas. As a pundit on ITV's coverage of last night's Champions League action, Keane was asked for his opinion on the Celtic-Barca game. He did not hold back. We wouldn't expect anything less:

"They scraped through [to the group stages] and I thought they’d actually won the thing." "They’ve got to change the mindset," he added. "I’m on about the qualifying games when they were scraping through then celebrating like they’d won the bloody thing."
