And just months ago hardly anyone had heard of him. But Ferdinand claims Anthony Martial is the one mercurial talent in Louis van Gaal's side which will make Premier League rivals Arsenal, Chelsea and Man City sh*t themselves.
He was talking about seeing the team sheets back in the day with names like Arjen Robben Didier Drogba or Damien Duff and thinking 'oh no, this is going to be a tough game.'
But he believes there are no players in the United squad that can hurt opposition defences, bar the 19-year-old Martial. Ouch.
