We're all hoping and praying for some positive news about Nick Blackwell after the boxer was placed into an induced coma last night.

The 25-year-old is thought to have suffered bleeding of the brain after a punishing bout with Chris Eubank Jr, which was stopped in the 10th round, initially due to swelling on Blackwell's eye. He is believed to have collapsed following the conclusion of the fight, and required oxygen before leaving Wembley Arena on a stretcher and spending the night in hospital. But we've been given what sounds like good news, with surgeons saying they have no plans to operate on the Trowbridge fighter. https://twitter.com/ChrisEubankJr/status/714091699094552576 Many from across the boxing world have given Blackwell their support after he withstood a number of heavy blows in his title defence up until the stoppage. According to the BBC, British Boxing Board of Control general secretary Robert Smith described the coma as a "very normal procedure" and added that "now it's just a matter of waiting and seeing." Blackwell is understood to still be in intensive care, where he is receiving treatment and attention from experts,
