Ritchie De Laet could be the answer to a quiz question in years to come.

The Leicester City defender, currently on-loan with Championship high-flyers Middlesbrough, could be about to become a double league champion in the one season. The foxes went seven points clear at the top of the Premier League, with six games remaining, following Sunday afternoon's 1-0 win over Southampton. Meanwhile Middlesbrough are three points behind Championship leaders Burnley, with six fixtures to play, and a game in hand over their rivals. Should both sides win their respective leagues, De Laet will become (we're pretty certain) the first player in English football history to receive a league winners medal for both divisions in the one season. A player needs to make a minimum five appearances for a title winning team to be eligible for a medal, and the 27 year old defender featured 12 times for Claudio Ranieri's side in the league before joining Boro in January. The Foxes look well on their way to claiming an incredible league title win, and De Laet could be about to become the holder of one of the most unique records in football.
