Chelsea captain John Terry could make a shock exit from Stamford Bridge to team up with former Blues striker Gianfranco Zola.

Terry was only beginning to cement his place in the starting line-up when Zola's time in London came to an end, but the former England international could opt to play under his one-time team-mate at Qatari club Al-Arabi. According to the Daily Mirror, the seven-time champions, who appointed the Italian in July, are ready to offer the 34-year-old big money to make the move to the Middle-East. They have already successfully coaxed one player from West London, with former Fulham winger Ashkan Dejagah joining Al-Arabi after the Cottagers' relegation in 2014. dejagah Chelsea have kept just one clean sheet in Terry's seven appearances this season, and many have suggested this could be his last season in London. The veteran was given a torrid time by West Ham's front-line in the 2-1 defeat, and struggled in earlier reverses against Southampton and Manchester City. But any move would be unlikely to go through until next summer, when Terry's Chelsea contract comes to an end.
