Understandably, seeing another of their key players heading to Madrid is a bitter pill to swallow for many Manchester United supporters, but they can take some comfort from the man that will reportedly be heading in the opposite direction.
In what looks to have been his final game for Real, he saved a penalty in the Bernabeu as the home crowd chanted his name. Although his popularity amongst Madrid supporters counts for nothing in the eyes of Florentino Perez, it's worth noting that United will be getting a goalkeeper that can be a more than capable replacement for the departing De Gea.
