For something that's supposed to be a bit of fun, fantasy football can get a little too serious sometimes.

In actual football, the concept of taking things to seriously manifests itself as the guy who leads with his studs for every tackle in a five-a-side kickabout. In fantasy football, it leads to things like this. A self-proclaimed "guru in all things Fantasy Sports", Steve Rothgeb is either taking the seriousness of his fantasy football campaign to the next level, or is engaging in some top-quality trolling. After Southampton defender Cedric Soares was substituted in the 60th minute of his side's 2-2 draw with Leicester, Rothgeb demanded to know why his player was only credited with 59 minutes played. Since Leicester did not score until the 66th minute, Cedric would have gained his teams a clean sheet bonus had he played the full 60 minutes. Rothgeb wasn't happy, penning this letter to the Premier League demanding an explanation. We warn you, it's long (click to enlarge)... soares letter For his troubles, Rothgeb received a reply describing the process and a refusal to update the player's score. https://twitter.com/FuzzyWarbles/status/655830762747392000 Unsurprisingly, he appears to have taken some grief for the ordeal but remained defiant to his critics. https://twitter.com/FuzzyWarbles/status/655877476820758528
