Expect changes, they were told.

But when England's team to face Slovakia in their final Euro 2016 group match was announced, supporters were quick to pick flaws with Roy Hodgson's much tampered with lineup. There were few complaints that Jamie Vardy and Daniel Sturridge - goal scorers against Wales in their last outing - had stepped in for the likes of Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane, but the decision to start Jordan Henderson seemed to be an unpopular one. https://twitter.com/katsarfr/status/744952972287819777 https://twitter.com/AntyintelUTD/status/744952926381146112 https://twitter.com/tomojohno98/status/744952900498108421 https://twitter.com/jackmcintyre67/status/744952887453847552 https://twitter.com/davisn18/status/744954741571072001 https://twitter.com/timmaay2000/status/744954575791230976 All a bit harsh, isn't it? At least Henderson has the backing of the supporters of his club, Liverpool... https://twitter.com/SimplyAlaba/status/744918443795718144 Maybe not. A win for England would guarantee they won Group B regardless of what happens in the match between Wales and Russia in Toulouse. In winning the group, Hodgson's men would theoretically be given an easier opponent in the last sixteen and would avoid all other group winners. A draw, coupled with a Welsh win, would see England finish in second. A defeat? Let's not worry about that unless we absolutely have to, eh?
