David Beckham announces a return to Old Trafford

David Beckham last turned out for Manchester United at Old Trafford in 2003 - the odd friendly aside.

Now though, as revealed in a post on his Instagram, he's set to return once more to the ground he called home for the early stages of his career. Beckham will be playing his first game since retirement, captaining a Great Britain and Ireland team managed by Sir Alex Ferguson as they take on a Rest of the World side captained by Zinedine Zidane. The Rest of the World side will be managed by Carlo Ancelotti. The game will be raising proceeds for Unicef and will be taking place on November 14th. I never thought that I would be putting my boots back on but it's for a great cause, the incredible work of @unicef for children.
