Belfast man taken to hospital after brick he threw at charity shop window rebounds in his face

He bloody well deserved it.

A man in his forties is believed to have been taken to hospital in Belfast on Wednesday night after a brick that he threw at a charity shop window rebounded in his face.

According to UTV, the brick rebounded off the window and hit him in the face while he was outside the offices of PIPS (Public Initiative for Prevention of Suicide and Self Harm), a suicide prevention charity, in North Belfast.

PIPS tweeted requesting assistance after several windows were smashed on the property, with police responding to a report about the incident at approximately 8.25pm.

A number of volunteers helped board up the property last night and as of today, PIPS were still looking for help in replacing the smashed windows.

Although the damage caused to the charity shop is no laughing matter, we are heartened to hear about the instant karma the brick thrower received. It reminded us of this old classic…
