Just to confirm: yesterday really *did* happen and Donald Trump *will* be the 45th President of the United States when he's sworn in in January.
The news that he'd seen off Hillary Clinton in the US elections has shocked the world, especially given some of the eyebrow-raising statements the 70-year-old has come out with in the months leading up to November 8.
One of the more memorable was his call to ban all Muslims from the US.
"Donald J Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown on Muslims from entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on," he'd said in the wake of last December's San Bernardino terrorist attack.

Although the statement was still there for all to see as millions of Americans went to the polls on Tuesday, it now appears to have vanished, with links to the page now redirecting to a page asking voters to donate to his campaign.
As pointed out by The Independent, this isn't the first time that Trump's team have got rid of content on his website.
Amid rumours that First Lady to be, Malania Trump, didn't complete her degree at university, her biography page also disappeared with links redirecting visitors to a page for her husband's golf course.
