The Beetham Tower is famous for making a peculiar whistling sound whenever it's a bit bit breezy, and has become the stuff of legend around the city - it even have its own Twitter page.

Said to be generated by strong winds meeting the building's glass blade, Ian Simpson, the architect who designed it, was forced to apologise for the noise back in 2012.
