Wonderful news
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have announced that they are pregnant with a rainbow baby.
Taking to Instagram to reveal the news, the 36-year-old mum of two explained how the couple are expecting their third child.
The announcement of the rainbow baby – a child born or adopted after a miscarriage or stillbirth – comes two years after the loss of their last baby named Jack. Teigen suffered complications and bleeding during the pregnancy.

She previously said the experience was “the greatest pain I could ever imagine” and feared she would never be able to become pregnant again.
The model and TV personality previously shared an extremely raw and heart-wrenching post while still in the hospital, not long after their’s tragic news in September 2020.

Thankfully, “1 billion shots later” as she puts it, the pair are once again expecting. Writing in the caption of her latest post, she stated that “The last few years have been a blur of emotions to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again.”
Expressing nerves over making the announcement, she added: “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘ok if it’s healthy today I’ll announce’ but then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat… I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing.
The couple have been together since 2007 and married since 2013; their third child, whose sex is yet to be confirmed, will join six-year-old Luna and four-year-old Miles.
