"We love music, and 'Carpool Karaoke' celebrates it in a fun and unique way that is a hit with audiences of all ages," Apple's Eddie Cue told Variety. "It's a perfect fit for Apple Music—bringing subscribers exclusive access to their favourite artists and celebrities who come along for the ride."Carpool Karaoke will be produced by CBS Television Studios - the production company of Late Late Show. Producer Ben Winston is expected to expand on the segment's format with celebrity guests surprising fans during their ride. The show is also being replicated elsewhere on Spike TV. According to Vanity Fair, their new show Caraoke Showdown will be hosted by Craig Robinson. While we're definitely running the risk of overloading a fairly niche idea, we are looking forward to seeing what Robinson can do with his own show.
