Trevor Noah, the man who has the unenviable task of replacing Jon Stewart as the host of the Daily Show, has spoken to James Corden about how he got the job.

Speaking to Corden, Noah explained that he assumed the call from Jon Stewart himself was a prank at first.
He was in Harrods when he answered (looking at an underwater scooter), but wasn't able to rush to New York straight away because he was committed to gigs in London.
If this interview is anything to go by, Noah will do just fine. He's witty, likeable and very self-effacing.
