It's a long-standing Christmas tradition, like supermarket Turkey sandwiches in October and gingerbread-flavoured everything - the new John Lewis advert is here.

This year, instead of penguins, they've given the man on the moon centre-stage. It's got all the usual staples, like bleakness, hope, children and a family-friendly cover - this time it's a version of Half the World Away by Oasis, sung by Norwegian vocalist Aurora.
