Kanye West has returned to Instagram following Pete Davidson‘s split from Kim Kardashian over the weekend with a rather controversial post.
The rapper shared a mock-up of a newspaper front page, mocking the comedian who he has been attacking ever since he started dating his ex-wife.
The headline on the newspaper read: “Pete Davidson dead at age 28.”

West, 45, also took aim at his new nemesis, Kid Kudi, with a subheading that read: “Kid Cudi meant to play funeral but fearful of bottle throwers”.
The line is in reference to the the ‘Pursuit of Happiness’ performer walking off the stage at last month’s Rolling Loud festival in Miami after fans threw objects at him.

Karadashian, 41, and Davidson, 28, ended their nine month relationship due to their demanding work schedules, E! News reported.
Sources told the broadcaster that the duo still had “a lot of love and respect for each other” but their work commitments had “made it really difficult to maintain a relationship”.
Rumours of the couple’s romance began in October, when Kardashian hosted Saturday Night Live and kissed Davidson during a sketch. The pair publicly confirmed their union a month later and went on to appear at a number of events together, including the Met Gala.
Their relationship was constantly under attack from West, who nicknamed Davidson, ‘Skete’, and went on rap about him in his song Eazy, with The Game. In the music video for the song, West buried Davidson.
West even suggested at one point that Davidson had aids.
