Great British Bake Off is at the centre of a BBC betting storm

The X Factor of cooking shows has won over many a discerning TV watcher, but all that good work could soon be undone as a SCANDAL has gripped the programme. The Great British Bake Off is one of a number of TV shows for which Ladbrokes has offered odds, along with the likes of The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing, though it has now been removed from the bookmaker's website. A spokesperson for the BBC has stated that the organisation has "no knowledge" of the claims in question.
